Created a model for a driving aid product intended to support people suffering from paraplegia alongside a scalable product business plan.
Project Overview
Designed a consumer product from scratch with the intention of creating a model for something that genuinely helps people--a paraplegic driving aid. Alongside the 3-D modelling and actual manufacturing machine shop processes, constructed a high-level business plan to take this model and mass-manufacture it.
Feel free to take a look at some work samples below!

Project Industry: Consumer Products
Project Type: Product Design and Commoditization
Project Length: 5 months
Key Actions
Went through entire "project sprint" process, starting with product use-cases and consumer journey all the way to sketches and designs
Identified each indiviaul component needed to create this product and soruced the materials to create it
Used CAD design to create a model and then used 3-D printing and machine shopping techniques to manufacture the Beta version
Created a business plan focused around scaling production and product differentiators
Presented both product test and business plan at Berkeley Engineering Fair to students, professors, and professionals
Tools Used
SolidWorks (CAD)
Machine Shop (Metal cutting, water jets, FABLight, etc.)
